Jason R. Weimer is a seasoned commercial real estate banking professional with deep expertise in credit, risk management, and debt origination. With a career spanning nearly two decades, he has built a reputation for structuring complex transactions, cultivating strong client relationships, and delivering consistent results across a wide range of market environments. Known for his collaborative approach and strong communication skills, Jason works seamlessly across internal teams and with external partners to drive successful outcomes for both clients and institutions.

Currently serving at Wintrust Bank in Denver, Jason is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing commercial real estate loan opportunities across a national footprint, with a focus on developers and investors throughout the Mountain region. He has closed more than $300 million in loan commitments in his first two years with the bank, while also generating significant deposit growth and treasury management revenue. His work has included several high-profile transactions, including the largest commercial real estate loan originated in the company’s history. His performance has earned him recognition as a top producer within the organization, as well as industry honors including Commercial Real Estate Industrial Loan of the Year and Treasury Management Relationship of the Year.

Prior to joining Wintrust, Jason held leadership roles at Huntington National Bank and TCF National Bank, where he focused on originating, underwriting, and managing commercial real estate loans ranging from middle-market to institutional scale. He oversaw large and complex portfolios, sourced hundreds of millions in loan volume, and played a key role in generating revenue through syndications, swaps, and deposit relationships. Earlier in his career, he held credit and underwriting roles at Colorado Business Bank, BBVA Compass Bank, and Synovus Financial, where he developed a strong foundation in portfolio management, risk analysis, and credit structuring.

In addition to his production and leadership responsibilities, Jason is committed to mentoring and developing talent, regularly coaching junior team members on the fundamentals of commercial real estate lending, underwriting, and portfolio management. He is known for his ability to balance risk and opportunity, structuring deals that support client objectives while maintaining disciplined credit standards.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Banking Administration from the University of Alabama. He remains actively engaged in the industry and community, serving on the National Multifamily Housing Council Advisory Committee and holding leadership roles with ULI Colorado. He has also contributed his time to organizations such as Junior Achievement and local community initiatives, reflecting his commitment to both professional excellence and community involvement.
